Hey YABC, I'm stoked to finally share this little gem I've been sitting on for 1,000 years (publishing, amirite?). I hope you like it as much as I do, and I really hope someone wins the arcs! About the Book

When sixteen-year-old Clara Evans responds to her school's overreaching book ban by starting an underground library in her locker, she's one hundred percent sure she knows all there is to know about the importance of books and their impacts on the people who read them. But, when her secret book hustling sparks a wildfire of unforeseen self-doubt, confusing friendships, and life-altering consequences, she's forced to wrestle with what she's always believed about books and the freedoms that connect us to our world.

About the Author

I write words you can sing and words you can read. I’m an ex-librarian living in Chattanooga, TN with my wife, two kids (son & daughter), and a dog that barks at non-existent threats.

When I’m not writing YA or MG, I interpret software developer speak as a Technical Writer at Skuid, a startup based out of Chattanooga. I’m a member of the Jedi Counsel, facilities manager at the Sanctum Sanctorum, and have a propensity to daydream whenever I attempt to be an adult.

I love the synopsis -- the fact that kids are so empowered and it's about reading! The cover isn't what caught my eye, so I'm glad that I read the summary.

I'm excited about this book after reading the synopsis, and I think a lot of other bookworms will be too. The cover made me think this was more of an adult-style novel, but works for the story.
