Today we’re super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for SAFE & SOUND by Alli Hope, releasing February 22, 2017 from Elephantine. Before we get to the cover, here’s a note from Alli:
Hello YABC lovelies! Welcome to the cover reveal for SAFE & SOUND, my debut YA novel. I am so excited to be able to finally share it with you guys. I have been waiting for this day for a LONG time. Like the kind of long that seems impossible to quantify in mere words. And now that day is HERE! So, you can imagine how much jumping up and then unceremoniously and not-so-gracefully falling back down is happening in my life today. I was lucky enough to get asked my thoughts on this cover during every step of the process, and my publisher always listened and explained all the decisions to me. Because while I like to think I’m quite crafty with words, cover art is not so my expertise, and overwhelmed is a thing that I become easily with too many options. But before we even started the process, I was stuck with this idea of a girl’s reflection in broken glass. SO IMAGINE MY DELIGHT AT THIS OUTCOME. When I saw the final cover, I clapped and then sobbed, effectively freaking out my roommate who was working ten feet away from me.
I hope you guys love it as much as I do. WHICH IS TO SAY A WHOLE LOT.
