Today we're super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for LOVE, LIFE, AND THE LIST by Kasie West, releasing January 2018 from Harper Teen. Before we get to the cover, here's a note from Kasie:
Hello, YABC! Thanks for hosting me today! I'm so excited to share the cover of LOVE, LIFE and the LIST with all of you! Isn't it so pretty?! The MC in this book is an artist so I'm thrilled with the artistic touches on the cover: the brush-stroked title, the art gallery feel, the painting on the wall. Also, can I just say that I love how the couple's hands are linked--the adorable two-finger hold. Yes, I write cute contemporary romance so things like that make me swoon. You'd think seeing the covers of my books wouldn't be exciting after a few, but I get excited every time! It's what makes the book finally feel real to me (actually any book, not just my own). I hope you love seeing covers as much as I do.

LOVE, LIFE, AND THE LIST
Seventeen-year-old Abby Turner’s summer isn’t going the way she’d planned. She has a not-so-secret but definitely unrequited crush on her best friend, Cooper. She hasn’t been able to manage her mother’s growing issues with anxiety. And now she’s been rejected from an art show because her work “has no heart.” So when she gets another opportunity to show her paintings Abby isn’t going to take any chances.
Which is where the list comes in.
Abby gives herself one month to do ten things, ranging from face a fear (#3) to learn a stranger’s story (#5) to fall in love (#8). She knows that if she can complete the list she’ll become the kind of artist she’s always dreamed of being. But as the deadline approaches, Abby realizes that getting through the list isn’t as straightforward as it seems… and that maybe—just maybe—she can’t change her art if she isn’t first willing to change herself.
Kasie West’s debut, Pivot Point (HarperTeen, February 2013) received a starred review in Publishers Weekly and was a 2014 YALSA BFYA (Best Fiction for Young Adults) pick and the 2013 Whitney Award for Best Novel by a new author. Kasie is also the author of Split Second, The Distance Between Us, On the Fence, The Fill-in Boyfriend, PS I Like You, By Your Side, and Lucky In Love. When she isn't writing, she mainly plays taxi driver to one of her four kids, eats chocolate, or binges a television series on Netflix in record time.
