It's Live!! Cover Reveal: Inkmistress by Audrey Coulthurst + Giveaway (Intl)
Hi, YABCers!
Today we're super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for INKMISTRESS by Audrey Coulthurst, releasing March 6, 2018 from Balzer + Bray. Before we get to the cover, here's a note from Audrey:
Hi YABC readers! Welcome to the exclusive cover reveal for my second book, INKMISTRESS! Given that I often joked this book should be titled OF BISEXUALITY AND BLOODSHED, the team at Balzer + Bray could not have done a more fantastic job with the artwork and design. INKMISTRESS is a prequel of sorts to OF FIRE AND STARS, and takes place in a different kingdom with a new cast of characters. I can't wait to see what you all think of the cover and Asra's story. Don't forget to enter the ARC giveaway below if you'd like to read INKMISTRESS early!

Asra is a demigod with a dangerous gift: the ability to dictate the future by writing with her blood. To keep her power secret, she leads a quiet life as a healer on a remote mountain, content to help the people in her care and spend time with Ina, the mortal girl she loves.
But Asra’s peaceful life is upended when bandits threaten Ina’s village and the king does nothing to help. Desperate to protect her people, Ina begs Asra for assistance in finding her manifest—the animal she’ll be able to change into as her rite of passage to adulthood. Asra uses her blood magic to help Ina, but her spell goes horribly wrong and the bandits destroy the village, killing Ina’s family.
Unaware that Asra is at fault, Ina swears revenge on the king and takes a savage dragon as her manifest. To stop her, Asra must embark on a journey across the kingdom, becoming a player in lethal games of power among assassins, gods, and even the king himself. Most frightening of all, she discovers the dark secrets of her own mysterious history—and the terrible, powerful legacy she carries in her blood.
A sweeping and romantic fantasy full of dangerous magic and dark choices—from the author of Of Fire and Stars.

I loved Of Fire and Stars so I'm so so excited to read this, especially because I'm bisexual and we need more bisexual protagonists. The cover is so beautiful - but I bet it'll look better in real life
I love the synopsis and the plot is a little simple, though I like it.
Love the cover and the synopsis! I have to read it. Congartulations.
I haven't read Of Fire and Stars but this book sounds great!! I'll definitely have to pick up both of these! The cover AND synopsis are eye-catching.
I'm so excited to read both of Coulthurt's books. I already have Of Fire and Stars but will definitely have to get this too!
The cover is great and the summary... omg i love it! lgbt fantasy? bring it to me
This sounds so interesting, and that cover is definitely eye catching!
The cover is really good. Is that a dragon I see? I'm excited to read more fantasy with F/F relationships!
I like that the cover is in the same style as Of Fire and Stars but I'm not digging the color because there's not enough contrast so it looks flat. I'm super excited for the story though.
This cover is absolutely gorgeous! It actually reminds me of the cover "Of Fire and Stars." They'll compliment each other so well on anyone's bookshelf! (Hopefully, mine!)
As for the synopsis... Who wouldn't love a diverse fantasy with dark magic, assassins, bloodshed and that's filled with danger and packed with action?!?
