Hi, YABCers!

Today we're super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for EMERGE: THE BETRAYAL (Immortals of Indriell #5), releasing this winter from Midnight Hour StudioBefore we get to the cover, here's a note from Melissa:

Hello YABCers,

Welcome to the exclusive cover reveal for EMERGE: THE BETRAYAL (Immortals of Indriell, book 5).

I'm so excited to FINALLY share this very special book with you. Emerge: The Heir (Immortals of Indriell, book 4) jumped four years into Allie's future without Aidan. In The Betrayal, we're going back. (And don't worry, I'm including a beautiful graphic with this book to help you keep the timelines straight.)

This dual point of view novel is primarily Aidan's book about his time with the Milan Initiative and the decisions he made that shaped the next four years of his and Allie's lives. But there is more to Allie's story during that time too. A lot more.

And the cover! It's so pretty! My cover designer, Daqri Combs of Covers by Combs, is responsible for the new Emerge facelift and this beauty you're about to see. She captured Aidan and the gorgeous skyline of Milan to perfection. Check it out, I hope you all love it as much as I do!

The Betrayal is set to release sometime this winter, but at the moment, I am still playing Russian Roulette with my calendar, so watch my website for firm release date announcements, coming very soon! (Or you can sign up for New Release Alerts here)

Enjoy!

Melissa A. Craven (EMERGE: THE BETRAYAL, Midnight Hour Studio)

About the Book

Four years ago, Allie and Aidan parted ways.

She had a new life that didn’t include him.

He had secrets he wasn’t free to share.

Aidan:

It was easier letting her go. It broke his heart, but it was necessary. To save her, he had to set her free. Giving Allie the normal life she’d always wanted was the only thought that kept Aidan going. That, and his special bond with his partner, Naomi. Together they had an important job to do.

Convince their captors they could be trusted.

Lead the Syntrophos of the Milan Initiative and earn their undying loyalty.

Set them free and return to Allie, stronger, smarter and more capable of standing beside her as an equal.

But betrayal is like a cloud hanging over them. It lurks in every corner, leaving Aidan and Naomi unable to trust anyone but themselves.

Allie:

Reeling from the loss of the most important person in her life, Allie’s spirit is broken. Her only anchor in the storm is her Syntrophos, Darius McBrien. With Aidan’s inexplicable absence, Allie throws herself into the college life and getting to know her long-lost family she’s only recently met—including her indomitable sister, Livia.

Living with Darius and attending classes, Allie falls into yet another new normal. But as the brewing war in the Dreamworld reaches new heights, Allie and Livia will have to work together with Navid and Quinn to stop the dream walker who threatens the very lifeblood of the Dreamworld and the legacy of their father.

Surrounded by people who love her, Allie can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right. She has been warned. Someone close to her will betray her. But her clairvoyance didn’t come with a rulebook and Allie has no idea who she can trust.

About the Author

Melissa A. Craven writes Young Adult Urban Fantasy with crossover appeal to other genres and audiences of all ages. She believes in stories that make you think and she loves playing with foreshadowing, leaving clues and hints for the careful reader.
