It’s Live!! Cover Reveal: Cupid’s Match by Lauren Palphreyman + Giveaway (US/Canada)
Today we're excited to celebrate the cover reveal for
Cupid's Match by Lauren Palphreyman,
releasing October 1, 2019 from Wattpad Books!
Before we get to the cover, here's a note from the author:
I’m so excited to share with you the cover to my supernatural teen romance novel, CUPID’S MATCH. I absolutely love the cover! CUPID’S MATCH is centered around a secret paranormal agency of cupids living (and causing chaos) in California, and I love how the text and background hints at the ancient mythological side of the book, juxtaposed with the sleek looking cupid arrows. I’m so grateful to the team at Wattpad Books. And, in particular, I’d like to thank the CUPID’S MATCH cover designer, Greg Tabor, for his work and vision! I hope you all love the cover as much as I do! You can find out more about the book below and follow me on Instagram (@LaurenPalphreyman) for some sneak peeks from CUPID’S MATCH!

About the Book
He's mythologically hot, a little bit wicked, and almost 100% immortal. And he'll hit you right in the heart . . .
"Miss Black, we have a big problem.”
Lila Black doesn't believe in matchmaking, let alone soul mates. So then why is she constantly being hassled by the Cupids Matchmaking Service? But this gilded, cherub-bedecked dating agency isn't exactly what it seems . . . and it’s about to turn Lila's entire world upside down.
It turns out that Cupids Matchmaking is the real deal. As in, it's run by actual cupids—who don't look at all like they do in the paintings—and they have a serious problem with Lila's “match.” Because this guy shouldn't be in the system. He shouldn't have a match. And while he's irresistibly hot, he's also incredibly dangerous. Because Lila's true love match is Cupid. The original bad boy of love. And he wants her.
Now Lila's once-normal teenaged world has exploded into a mythological nightmare overrun by crime-lord sirens, wrathful cupid hit men, magic arrows that cause no end of trouble, and a mischievous, not-so-angelic love god she can't seem to stop herself from falling for . . .
Adored by 50 million readers on Wattpad, Lauren Palphreyman's smash-hit book is now in print for the first time.

At first, I thought the cover was a little too simplistic, but the more I look at it, the more I appreciate the smaller details. It’s really quite gorgeous! And the summary makes me so excited to read!!
I saw the cover of the book and it’s really simplistic but, it’s an amazing cover I love how the back of the arrow is like leaving the book and the front of the arrow is on top of the book. The arrow is also really colourful it’s really cool and it goes along with the authenticity of the red background. The summary of the book makes me really interested in reading this book and I just can’t wait until the book is out just to start reading it once I get a copy of the book.
I LOVE (appropriately enough. See what I did there??) the cover. It’s beautifully styled but still streamlined, allowing the title and symbolic arrows to speak for themselves. It’s kind of crazy to think about ALL the predictions readers can make, just based on the the words (“Cupid’s Match”) and the two arrows. I’m wondering now about the objects’ placement, color... they are placed in opposition in some ways (e.g. spatially, red hot arrow tip, cool blue feather).
Meanwhile, I think the synopsis speaks to the book’s humor and just FUN, alongside its rewriting of myth. I can’t wait to follow the interactions between Lila and Cupid.
