It’s live!! Cover Reveal: Brazen by Christina Farley + Giveaway (US/Canada/International)

Today we’re super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for BRAZEN by Christina Farley, releasing September 29, 2015 from Skyscape. Before we get to the cover, here’s a note from Christina:

I am absolutely thrilled to share with you the final –and my favorite– cover for the Gilded series! BRAZEN is the third and last book following GILDED and SILVERN. What I especially love about this book is how Cliff Nielsen really portrayed the Korean dragon accurately. Korean dragons are fierce, but also wise and knowledgeable. Today’s dragon tip: you can identify a Korean dragon by their four talons and deer-like horns.

As Gilded fans know, the series is packed full of dragons, but in BRAZEN the dragon has a special significance as readers will discover (sorry, not giving out any spoilers!). I hope you will find this final book as special as I have and thank you to all of the fans who have been so passionate and dedicated to this series.

About the Author

CHRISTINA FARLEY is the author of the Gilded series, a YA contemporary fantasy series set in Korea. GILDED was nominated for Korea’s 2014 Morning Calm, the 2015 Ohio Buckeye award, and the Tome’s It List. As a child, she loved to explore, which later inspired her to jump on a plane and travel the world. Christina’s adventures sparked her to write stories, infusing the real world with fantasy. Currently she lives in Clermont, FL with her husband and two sons—that is until the travel itch whisks her off to a new unknown.

I don’t usually read long novels, but as a 10-year resident of Korea I loved Gilded and Silvern, both for their excitement and for the way they took me back to the country I loved so much. When I first started reading Gilded, I had to stop — it made me too homesick for Korea to continue. A couple of months later I tried again. This time I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. I’ve been looking forward to Brazen ever since I finished Silvern, and I’m glad I only have a little over a month to wait. Will there ever be a movie version? There should be!

There is nothing I love more than purple and dragons,and this cover has both. The colour caughts the eye of anyone immediately,and intertwined with golden the effect is even stronger. Definitely beautiful.

Love the cover! Absolutely gorgeous. I also love the synopsis. I am really interested in Korean culture and history and this would teach me more about Korean lore. Looking forward to reading this book and it has now been added to my tbr!
