Today we’re super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for COMING UP FOR AIR by Miranda Kenneally, releasing July 2017 from Sourcebooks Fire. Before we get to the cover, here’s a note from Miranda:
Hey, YABC! Thank you for having me here today, and for your support over the years. I’m so glad to reveal the cover of my July 2017 book today! A little about the story first: it’s about Maggie, a high school senior who spends all her time swimming. After completing her first college visit, she starts thinking about how she has no experience with guys. Not wanting to show up at college inexperienced, she asks her best guy friend, Levi, to teach her to hook up. He is like, “What do you mean, teach you to hook up? You want me to draw some diagrams?”
I was so excited when I first saw this cover. It’s sweet, and hints at the steamy chemistry between Levi and Maggie, and I love all that hopeful, blue water. I can’t wait to share this book with you

COMING UP FOR AIR
Swim. Eat. Shower. School. Snack. Swim. Swim. Swim. Dinner. Homework. Bed. Repeat.
All of Maggie’s focus and free time is spent swimming. She’s not only striving to earn scholarships—she’s training to qualify for the Olympics. It helps that her best friend, Levi, is also on the team and cheers her on. But Levi’s already earned an Olympic try out, so she feels even more pressure to succeed. And it’s not until Maggie’s away on a college visit that she realizes how much of the “typical” high school experience she’s missed by being in the pool.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, Maggie decides to squeeze the most out of her senior year. First up? Making out with a guy. And Levi could be the perfect candidate. After all, they already spend a lot of time together. But as Maggie slowly starts to uncover new feelings for Levi, how much is she willing to lose to win?

Miranda Kenneally is the author of Catching Jordan, Racing Savannah, and Breathe, Annie, Breathe, among other YA romances. She enjoys reading and writing young adult literature, and loves Star Trek, music, sports, Mexican food, Twitter, coffee, and her husband. She is originally from Tennessee but now lives in Arlington, Virginia.

I’ve been a huge fan of Miranda Kenneally’s books ever since I read Catching Jordan. I love the hundred Oaks series and all of the characters. Can’t wait until Coming up for Air gets released 🙂

I’m so excited for the release of Coming Up For Air! I absolutely love Miranda Kenneally’s work. Every year, the highlight of my summer is going to buy the book on release day and reading it over and over again! I’m already counting down the days!!!
The cover and the synopsis go together very well. The stories sounds very interesting and I’m certain it will be amazing like the others in the Hundred Oaks High series!

Miranda is an auto-read auto-buy for me. I absolutely adore the Hundred Oaks series! Not only does Coming Up for Air sound adorable and perfect for me, it’s going to look fabulous on my shelf with all my other Miranda books. Can’t wait!

I love this cover as much as I loved Defending Taylor’s! And the synopsis is perfect, obviously. I know I’ll love this book.
I am in love with cover. It screams perfect summer romance read. I can’t wait to read it by the pool. As for the synopsis, it’s already got me falling in love with yet another hundred oaks guy. I thought no one would ever top my love for Matt, but who knows. I’ve always loved the name Levi. This storyline seems really relatable because a lot of high school seniors feel the panic of missing out. This is definitely one of my most anticipated books! ?
The cover is really appealing for teen love fans. The story plot sounds like something that my teen daughter would love.
