About the Author
Meika Hashimoto grew up on a mushroom farm in the mountains of Maine. As a child, she loved exploring the woods behind her house, especially during winter when the world felt so still. When she is not hiking or climbing, she is a children’s book editor in New York where she lives with her husband, a calico cat, and a rescue dog named Piper.
