ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Kim Baccellia was born in Sacramento, California and graduated from BYU with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She taught bilingual and Sheltered English for fifteen years in Los Angeles and Orange County school districts. Her first book, EARRINGS OF IXTUMEA, reflects her own desire for more diversity in children novels. Her other YA books include CROSSED OUT and NO MORE GODDESSES. Currently she’s a reviewer for YA Books Central, one of the largest online teen review sites. In her spare time she practices yoga, power walks, and is a sucker for bittersweet love stories. Oh, and she can be found at the local coffee house with a tea latte working on one of her current projects.
