Giveaway: Love and Leftovers
Enter to win a LOVE AND LEFTOVERS prize pack
from Sarah Tregay!
My wish is to fall cranium over Converse in dizzy, daydream-worthy love. (If only it were that easy.)
When her parents split, Marcie is dragged from Idaho to a family summerhouse in New Hampshire. She leaves behind her friends, a group of freaks and geeks called the Leftovers, including her emo-rocker boyfriend, and her father.
By the time Labor Day rolls around, Marcie suspects this "vacation" has become permanent.
She starts at a new school where a cute boy brings her breakfast and a new romance heats up. But understanding love, especially when you've watched your parents' affections end, is elusive. What does it feel like, really? Can you even know it until you've lost it?
Love and Leftovers is a beautifully written story of one girl’s journey navigating family, friends, and love, and a compelling and sexy read that teens will gobble up whole.
One winner with a US mailing address will win a signed copy of Love and Leftovers + a bookmark and necklace with guitar pick and charm!

The book I have read in verse that I really enjoyed was "What My Mother Doesn't Know" Sonya Sones. It was really good. There is two verses that I loved so much that I had to wite them down.
I've read some and I really love The Day Before by Lisa Shroeder, May B. by Caroline Rose Starr and Impulse by Ellen Hopkins Thanks for the amazing giveaway!
I have actually never read a verse novel. Funny timing though...I just began Stasia Ward Kehoe's AUDITION yesterday! I'm not too far in, but I am enjoying it so far.
I read One Lonely Degree by Lisa Schroeder ( which was awesome, I have a book review in my blog)
I have to say that I felt really stupid at first because I received this book in my mail for a book review and when I opened it I though why did they send me a poem book so the book stayed in my shelf for like a week, and then I decided to look it up what it was about and I found out it really wasn't a "poem book" it was actually and awesome book with just a different way of writing which I absolutely loved. i never imagined a book could have been written in verse, but I absolutely love it !
