Giveaway: Love and Leftovers
Enter to win a LOVE AND LEFTOVERS prize pack
from Sarah Tregay!
My wish is to fall cranium over Converse in dizzy, daydream-worthy love. (If only it were that easy.)
When her parents split, Marcie is dragged from Idaho to a family summerhouse in New Hampshire. She leaves behind her friends, a group of freaks and geeks called the Leftovers, including her emo-rocker boyfriend, and her father.
By the time Labor Day rolls around, Marcie suspects this "vacation" has become permanent.
She starts at a new school where a cute boy brings her breakfast and a new romance heats up. But understanding love, especially when you've watched your parents' affections end, is elusive. What does it feel like, really? Can you even know it until you've lost it?
Love and Leftovers is a beautifully written story of one girl’s journey navigating family, friends, and love, and a compelling and sexy read that teens will gobble up whole.
One winner with a US mailing address will win a signed copy of Love and Leftovers + a bookmark and necklace with guitar pick and charm!

I've never read a novel in verse, at least not one that I can remember. I haven't exactly avoided them, but there has never been one that really piqued my interest. I'm opening to reading one in the future, if it interests me.
I really like all of the books by Sonya Sones like What My Mother Doesnt Know and What my Girlfriend Doesnt Know. They were very relatable to an average teens life. (:
I haven't read a novel in verse simply because I haven't found one that made me feel intrested. I usually stick to chapter books but, I'm open to reading other types of writing too.
I've never read a book in verse. I read the Matched series by Ally Condie which had a lot of poetry in, i just never thought about reading one.
