About the Author:
Jerri Chisholm is a YA author, a distance runner, and a chocolate addict. Her childhood was spent largely in solitude with only her imagination and a pet parrot for company. Following that, she completed a master’s degree in public policy and then became a lawyer but ultimately decided to leave the profession to focus exclusively on the more imaginative and avian-friendly pursuit of writing. She lives with her husband and three children but, alas, no parrot.

I love the orange and purple theme, you never see it on covers! The synopsis reminds me slightly of Divergent, which is still one of my favorite books, so this book excites me, not enough dystopian comes out nowadays.

I've been deeply missing dystopian YA lately. There was such a boom in the early 2010s/late 2000s, and nowadays it seems like very few are releasing in the coming years! This one sounds right up my alley -- hierarchies, a building as a microcosm for society, a revolution. Super excited for this one!!

I love this cover! The colors are bright and grab your attention. The synopsis is so interesting and gives me major Divergent vibes which is exciting because it's one of my favorite series ever. I'm so excited about this new dystopian book, especially because the main character sounds like a strong female lead (Tris Prior energy!).
