It's Live!! Cover Reveal: The Dragon's Curse (Bethany Wiggins), Plus Giveaway ~ (US Only)
Today we're excited to celebrate the cover reveal for The Dragon's Curse by Bethany Wiggins, releasing February 2018, from Crown Books For Young Readers.
Before we get to the cover, here's a note from Bethany:
Hi guys! I am so incredibly excited to reveal the cover of the next book in the Transference Trilogy. When I wrote book one, THE DRAGON’S PRICE, I had no idea it was going to end on a cliffhanger, and I felt terrible ending book one that way! (I personally hate cliffhangers.) But there was simply no other way to end it. That being said, it makes the release of book two even sweeter, knowing that I will be able to (hopefully) set things rights (you’ll have to read the book to see what actually happens). So, with great pleasure, I reveal to you the details of . . . THE DRAGON’S CURSE.

The Dragon's Curse
By: Bethany Wiggins
Release date: February 2018
Publisher: Crown Books For Young Readers
Six months ago, Princess Sorrowlynn stood beside Prince Golmarr to defeat the glass dragon. But his triumph quickly turned to tragedy when he almost killed Sorrow after inheriting the dragon’s curse of hatred.
Now the princess has been training to become a great warrior with the hope of finding Golmarr—who has gone into hiding to keep Sorrow safe . . . from himself. But her search proves difficult when Sorrow discovers she has been wed, by proxy, to Prince Treyose—whose very existence threatens Sorrow’s chance at true happiness.
Desperate to sever her forced marriage and be reunited with her true love, Sorrow must find a way to escape her captor husband. But there’s just one more dangerous obstacle in her way. A two-headed dragon is hunting her and will stop at nothing until she is dead.
Can Sorrow summon the courage to wield the only sword that can defeat the beast and save her world from the destruction of the dragon’s curse?
About the Author
Bethany Wiggins has always been an avid reader, but not an avid writer. She failed ninth grade English because she read novels instead of doing her homework. A decade later, Bethany's sister dared her to start writing an hour a day until she completed a novel. Bethany wrote a seven-hundred page fantasy novel that she wisely let no one read--but it taught her how to write. Since then she has penned SHIFTING, STUNG, CURED. THE DRAGON’S PRICE, and THE DRAGON’S CURSE.

The cover is wonderful because it stays within the design concept of the first one while also pushing more stronger and bolder colors that definitely reflect the character growth of Sorrowlyn. The plot sounds like it is going to continue to be just as intriguing as the first one, with more action to look forward to.
I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES!!! I was one of the crazy ones that messaged my now-favorite author mid-panic attack about the ending. The cover looks amazing as expected- love the eye contact. It makes me feel as if she's staring at me personally. I'm excited to see how our Sorrow reacts to this forceable fiancee!! Especially how her relationship with that horrible king (fake dad) of hers had been.
I LOVE the cover especially the piercing eyes of the girl, its mesmerizing! The synopsis seems very cool and interesting, I'm excited to read the book!
The cover is eye-catching and certainly appealing. I can tell right away that we are going to have a plot centered around a leading lady that can definitely hold her own.
And with dragons, curses, and danger weaved throughout, I can tell this is going to be one heck of a read!
