Cover Reveal: MANOR OF SECRETS by Katherine Longshore

Cover Reveal: MANOR OF SECRETS by Katherine Longshore

Happy Friday, YABCers! Here's another beautiful cover on which to feast your eyes — MANOR OF SECRETS by Katherine Longshore!

Before we get to the goods, here's a message from Katherine about her cover:

Hello, YABC and welcome to the cover reveal for my new novel!

I’m an Anglophile and fan of all things Edwardian—upstairs/downstairs, monarchy, Downton Abbey, and especially clothes.  I fell in love with basque jackets, morning dresses and beaded evening gowns in costume design classes in college, and never stopped.  So when I first saw the cover for MANOR OF SECRETS, I thought I’d died and gone to fashion heaven.  I shall be ever grateful to Yaffa Jaskoll and Larry Rostant for bringing Charlotte (and her gown!) to life, and for framing her so perfectly by The Manor itself. It just makes me want to follow her inside…

~ Katherine

Anglophile and a fan of all things Edwardian -- that pretty much sums me up too. Cannot wait to get my hands on this book. Ready to see the lovely dress Katherine spoke of?

Ready, set, SCROLL!

The dress is gorgeous, just like Katherine said. That color! Those beads! *le sigh* It makes me want to become an actress or travel back in time, just so I can wear frocks like this.

Let us know what you think about the cover in the comments below!

Manor of Secrets by Katherine Longshore

Release date:  February 2014

ISBN: 978-0-545-56758-9

About the book:

Lady Charlotte Edmonds: Beautiful, wealthy and sheltered, Charlotte feels suffocated by the strictures of upper-crust society.  She longs to see the world beyond The Manor, to seek out high adventure—and most of all, romance.

Janie Seward:  Fiery, hardworking, and clever, Janie knows she can be more than just a kitchen maid.  But she isn’t sure she possesses the courage—or the means—to break free and follow her passions.

Both Charlotte and Janie are ready for change.  As their paths overlap in the gilded hallways and dark corridors of The Manor, rules are broken and secrets are revealed.  Secrets that will alter the course of their lives…forever.
