among the hidden is a great book!!!! I have read it 2 times now, and the 2nd time made a lot more sense!! this is definitely a good book, but it is not my favorite. this book gave me great suspense, but i was so sad in the end! luke is a shadow child, and in that town it is illegal to have more than 2 children,  but he is brave and goes to meet another 3rd child when he sees her in his window. here is some advice...
