"FIVE STARS for one of the most peculiar high school experiences of all time!" - The World is Hers for the Reading

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, Victoria Danann, brings you A STUNNING NEW TEEN FANTASY SERIES LIKE NOTHING ELSE!

The gods are using their own children as players in a high stakes game located in the most treacherous environment in the known universe... high school. To make it more interesting, they've stripped their children of knowledge of who they really are and withheld the rules of the game.

Sixteen-year-old Ever Moore thought she was an ordinary human girl until she transferred to R. Caine. Now she finds herself in a vortex of crazy occurrences where mystery, myths, and mystic collide.

Start reading TODAY and find out why readers are calling R. Caine HS funny, fast paced, and fabulous with flair.

Review of R Caine High School Books 1-3

This is like no other YA I have ever read. You have Gods, Demigods, a game, and high school. Couldn't put it down and most certainly can't wait for more

There aren't enough stars for this one!

The gods know that no one plays games better than teens. R. Caine High School combines gods, games with a tarot twist to get a radical take on young adult fiction. There aren't enough stars for this one!

Good Points
The depth of character and world building in R Caine HS is phenomenal.

Thank you Victoria

As if High School was not nightmareish enough, now let's put you in a game. No you do not get to know the rules, or who else is playing, or even what exactly losing means. Yep, sounds entertaining. For Me, and You. Not so much for the players. This book does not make little adults of sixteen year old kids, it does show how a sixteen year old may tackle a problem totally unlike a 40 year old, even the same person 26 years later (did I do that math right?). I totally enjoyed the slow draw out of the details.

Good Points
I had read parts one and two before, but I like this format better, although I see why in the YA category it may make more sense to "serialize" the novel. Absolutely delightful, lighter hearted (meaning NO heavy romance) reading. Just what I needed.

Join the adventure

If Victoria Danann writes it; I'll read it! She's so talented at world building and this is no exception to that statement. Take a handful of teenagers, add not only the usual angst, but throw in that the gods of the universe have decreed-in their usual 'lets see how the universe handles this' way; and you get R.Caine HS. I love that the 1st 3 are packaged together. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Gaming and the Gods!

But and read in one sitting - totally possible and highly probable!

Good Points
Imagine a story that unfolds just as game does - setting the scene, getting scents bits of information, the reader or player figuring out the game plan only to be surprised, enthralled and delighted as new information comes to light? This is what reading this series is like and even more entertaining if you have some knowledge about Norse gods. And if you are a consortium conspiracy theorist, this book will grab you even more as that is the underlying theme to the series. Throw in young bright minds, a little bit of romance and some hotness and sparks and you have a winning combination!

Not your parents' high school!

Victoria's R. Caine series made me long to return to high school. Seriously! Nothing like meddling gods with too much time to get things stirred up. Definitely on my keeper shelf.
