New Moon Hot

Gone with the Cullens
In the first act of New Moon, Bella celebrates her 18th birthday, an ominous sign that the good old days of Twilight can't last. Exit Edward, curtain up on Act Two, which has none of the sparkle of the preceding chapters--in the text as in Bella's life, the magic is gone with the Cullens--but which has a feeling of homeyness created by Jacob Black and the La Push gang, who become Bella's new family, a family where she is an equal, not a child to be patronized and protected. The third act sees Bella reunited with the Cullens and leaving Forks for some entertaining, fast-paced action that sets up the next instalment in the series, no doubt already eagerly awaited by fans.
New Moon's writing is enjoyable, though not as neat as Twilight's--as is evidenced, for example, by the ubiquitous mentions of eyes and the use on nearly every page of the adjectives "cold" and "hard". The pace is also more erratic and readers may find the story drags until the return of Alice Cullen--though again, this parallels Bella's life. While many will mourn the long absence of Bella's magical prince Edward, they will love her new best friend, Jacob Black, a very human boy who comes to need Bella in a way the superhuman Edward never did. Though the Cullens constantly struggle with their nature, neither Bella nor the reader is ever fully involved in the conflict--nor can we see the psychological changes caused by the physical ones. Through Jacob Black, the fear, regret and gradual acceptance of the change from human to something else hit home, and the psychological effects of the transformation are so well demonstrated that readers will feel deeply for him.
New Moon succeeds in opening up a story that seemed to end with Twilight. Now much more than just a tale of star-cross'd lovers or even the struggle of a few vampires to go against their nature and live without killing, it's come down to a war between vampire clans, with a pack of werewolves and some in-the-know and interested humans thrown into the mix. What's more, Bella now has a mission: the link between the Cullens and the La Push gang, she must convince the enemies to join together against an even greater threat. In many ways a transition piece from the idyllic Twilight to the certainly high-action Eclipse (scheduled for Fall 2007), New Moon nevertheless does stand on its own as a fun page-turner destined to be a number one bestseller.

Good.
Not as good as the first one, but I went through it just as fast as Twilight. Partly, because I was skipping parts of Bella bitching about this or that, and partly because I just wanted to get to more Jacob. He was my favorite part of this whole series. All of the werewolves really.
New moon the okay book
This book is somewhat better than Twilight, but I like better the next book.
Alright
New Moon wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. All my friends said it was amazing and wouldn't be able to stop. I liked the book but it needed more things to happen. I enjoyed the part where she had the birthday incident and the months flying past where she sinks into depression. It was a great idea how Edward leaves and the part about when he tries to 'kill' himself. That shows true love is very true.
New Moon
Okay, I loved how she put the name of the months on the few pages of Bella's depression instead of dragging out needless details of that time. It actually made me laugh.
Aside from that, I really enjoyed the book. It kept me on my toes so to speak and like the first one, once I started I couldn't put it down. You really get to know Jacob in this one, and you can't help but feel bad for Bella when he runs off just like Edward.
Another good book from Stephenie Meyer.
Team Jacob FTW
I liked this book better than Twilight because Jacob is a relatable character whom I truly like. I really like the kind of friendship he has with Bella. I never felt Edward and Bella had a truly comfortable friendship with each other. I also found Bella's depression and then self-destructive behavior fascinating, and I think it's an honest look at how it feels to lose your first intense romance. I'm still not a huge Edward fan. I mean ... really? You decide (a bit late in the game, but whatever) that your girl needs protecting and you do that by withholding information, lying to her, and then abandoning her? Way to underestimate Bella's strength. And Bella does have strength. She finds it in this book, I think, and starts to stand up for what she wants. I don't really understand why she wants Edward, but I respect that she goes after him and lets nothing stand in her way.
I Hate Unfair Love Triangles!

Summary:
This is the sequel to Twilight by Stephanie Meyer.
At this point, Edward has left Bella, telling her he does not love her anymore. The truth is, he is trying to protect her from himself, since he happens to be a vampire and is still a human He is trying to do the responsible thing. In her depression after the break-up, she turns to her friend, Jacob, for support. But they can not stay apart. After a couple suicide attempts, they reunite.
Review:
I love how they et back together in the end.
And, how, though these books are usually over 800 pages long, they never seem that long. It takes less than a week to read one.
This story had a very sweet ending, but, even though I like Jacob Black, I hate how he gets mixed up in the whole deal and gets hurt because he develops feelings for Bella. It hardly seemed fair.
I would suggest this book for teenagers 15+ and definitely not for anyone under 13.

Forever young

When Bella Swan's first true love decides to leave her, after a horrible accident on her birthday, she is determined to keep him with her. after he promised that she will believe he never existed, Bella is depressed for months, until her friend Jacob becomes her sunshine. He stays with her, until the "fantasy world" hits him to. Jacob and his werewolve pals believe that if Jake gets to close to Bella, she has a greater risk of being hurt. But when Edward thinks Bella has died, he goes to the volturi for a death wish. Bella and Alice has to save him, but will the volturi let them go when they find out that Bella knows the deepest darkest secret?!
4's Not Bad!

I don't like to read all that much so I compare the book that I read with the movie and I would say the book is better. For not liking to read this kept me intrigued and made me want to get to the end. yes, the movie you can picture it in your brain what it looks like, but the book is so much more graphic and detailed. It is sometimes more fun to picture the scenes as you feel they would look like. Over all this book is a 4 out of 5. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to someone who just loves vampires, but also to someone who is into a little suspense and romance.
Had To Read It!

This is a must read after Twilight. Of course you will miss Edward, but it is worth getting through to follow the story line. The books are written ok, nothing earth shattering. If it gets you to read, then enjoy it.
I did read the series and thought they were fine. Probably won't read them again.
