Good Series, But Where's My Romance?
Kel does what knights tend to do in the last book in the series: she goes on a quest. She must find and kill an evil mage, who kills children to use their spirits in deadly, metal killing machines. Unfortunately, she has other responsibilities as a knight which she must attend to first: her assignment from the crown. This book is good, but disappointed me in its lack of romance. I have grown used to Tamora Pierce’s characters having at least one good, serious romance, and was disappointed not to find one here.
