When Abby stepped through the hourglass door, leaving her beloved Dante blind and bleeding on the other side, it was in full faith that she could find a way to repair the damage to the river of time and restore him-as well as her family.  It was a desperate chance that seemed worth taking.  But Zo had other plans.  Now Abby is trapped in a full-fledged battle for her own mind and life and heart.  Even worse, Zo's evil intent reaches beyond simple revenge against her and Dante.  The whole world is in danger of collapsing unless Abby can summon her courage and undertake a journey that will lead her beyond the origins of the hourglass door.

Finale of the Hourglass Door trilogy

After finishing the first two books in this trilogy, The Hourglass door and The Golden Spiral I was so thankful the third book was already out. I don’t think I could have waited to finish the series. The series is that good!

In this thrilling conclusion we find Abby on the other side of the hourglass door, without her beloved Dante, and in a place in time she’s never been to before. She is in a race against time, and Zo, to fix the past to fix the future and if she doesn’t, the entire world is in danger. I could not put this book down. I stayed up late just so I could find out what happens. I tried to savor the book, but it was too good, I just could not take my time in reading it. If you have read my previous reviews of the series, you know how much I loved the previous two books, and I don’t think you will be disappointed with this one either. Ms. Mangum has such a beautiful way of writing and hte love between Dante and Abby comes through so strong. And each time I turned the page I found myself either gasping out loud or shaking my fist (usually at Zo). The story is written so well, I felt like I was in the middle of it.

If you are looking for a unique trilogy with romance, time travel and a great female lead, look no further. Go pick up the Hourglass trilogy today! ? stars for this final book of the trilogy. Thank you Ms. Mangum, for bringing us a romantic Italian we can all love and adore.
