The hourglass door has closed behind Dante, sending him back in time to hunt down Zo, Tony and V.  Although giving him up was the hardest test she ever faced, Abby knows that Dante is the only one who can stop the others from destroying time itself.  But almost immediately things start to change, and Abby's worst fears are realized when Zo begins targeting her past specifically.  With each change that ripples into her present, Abby's life continues to spiral out of control.  Her relationships with Jason, Natalie, and even her family are threatened to the breaking point.  Zo's power is greater than Abby ever imagined.  Will her love for Dante be enough to turn the tide?

Beautifully written sequel

Well, I could not wait to pick up this book once I finished the first book of the series The Hourglass Door. And did Ms. Mangum ever deliver. She did not disappoint me one bit. The writing is still beautiful, the characters still complex, the romance is...well, romantic, and the heartache, oh the heartache!

My heart was breaking for Abby the entire book. Dante is stuck somewhere in the Hourglass door and things in Abby’s life start to change, dramatically. Zo is changing things from Abby’s past that will effect her future. She must find a way to stop him and free Dante and get her family and friends back to normal. I appreciated the way Ms. Mangum still allows dialogue between Abby and Dante even though they weren’t face to face. These hauntingly beautiful meetings were so well written and so achingly heartbreaking all at the same time. I don’t want to give much away, but I do! If you loved The Hourglass Door RUN and get this book today. And if you haven’t read The Hourglass Door, hurry up so you can read this second book of the series. Hurry, people, hurry! Very strong ? stars for this book. Well done Ms. Mangum, well done!

Good Points
Intense, Romantic, keeps you on the edge of your seat

the heartache, oh the heartache
