But the truth is, Mia spends all her time doing one of three things: preparing for her nerve-racking entrée into Genovian society, slogging through the congestion unique to Manhattan in December, and avoiding further smooches from her hapless boyfriend, Kenny. For Mia, being a princess in love is not the fairy tale it's supposed to be . . . or is it?

Mia and Michael!
Each time I pick up the next book in The Princess Diaries series, I wonder what will happen to keep the story interesting. Meg Cabot does such a wonderful job of making Mia's story fun and engaging over and over again.
In this chapter, Mia finally has a boyfriend (which she has been wanting for a long time) BUT it's not the boy that she has always loved. Mia struggles with her relationship (or lack there of) with Kenny, all the while harboring a gigantic crush on Michael. And in all honestly, who doesn't have a crush on Michael?
I was rooting for Michael and Mia the whole time, just hoping that they would find a way to get together. I was so happy when they finally figured it out, it is truly a magical moment.
Don't give up on this series, there is always something new and fun involved.

Everyone thinks Princess Mia is so lucky, but she really isnt. She has a boyfriend like she always wanted, but she doesnt even like him. She always has to avoid his kisses. She wants to break up with him without hurting his feelings, but isnt quite sure how. Finals are coming up, so this poses a problem for her. She needs Kenny to help her with Biology.
She still has to continue the ever dreaded Princess Lessons with Grandmère since she has to prepare for her first appearance in Genovia. This is so stressful for her. Grandmère has Sebastin, Mias cousin, make dresses for her. There are pictures taken of her in each creation and those are printed in the newspaper, angering her and her father.
While all these things are going on in her life, she decides to write secret poems to Michael. Things look up when she breaks up with Kenny, and now she needs to make sure that Michael feels the same way about her, which she later finds out he does. They fall deeply in love with each other, hence the name of the title.
I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the best and most romantic book in the series so far. Princess Mia gets a well deserved ending, and her dream finally comes true. Im so glad that Mia and Michael finally get together. He is such a gentleman. There were no disappointments.
Swoon Worthy

The third installment to The Princess Diaries series is Meg Cabot at her best. The romance in this book is the main plot. Readers will be in high anticipation and eagerly turning pages in the hopes of discovering Mia and Michael get together. Finally. Cabot does not disappoint and will leave readers with warm fuzzy feelings and the desire to have their own Michaels upon finishing the novel.
I L-O-V-E-D it!

It converses about the hardships that Mia is having to go through dating Kenny, who she never wanted to date in the first place. She never knew she'd fall in love with Mike like this, and she never knew Kenny was the secret admirer, so was it really her fault she didn;t want to french kiss Kenny? Wait till you read the reading, I LOVE it.

I just loved this book. It is about a girl named Mia that falls in love with her best friends brother. Only one problem. He has a "girlfriend". Read this book of adventure as Mia tries to find a date to the dance, break up with her lab partner Kenny, and try and prepare for going to Genovia to oresent herself as the heir to the throne of Genovia. I loved this book because it was so sweet.
My fav book of the series

This is the best book so far in the series. Mia finally breaks up with Kenny and confronts Micheal and tells him she likes him in a series of letters. This book is really sweet, and Mia finally gets the guy of her dreams. Micheal obviously kind of likes her too. I loved this book so much.
FINALLY

Mias life is over. Again. But this time its because she has a boyfriend.
Gasp!
Wait, confused?
I mean, shes been complaining about no boyfriend for like forever and now that she has one her life is over?
Well, yes, Mia does have a boyfriend, who cares about her and LOVES her, only problem is that its the wrong guy!
I think every Meg Cabot fan was incredibly disappointed by the previous book in the series. Kenny is great and all but hes not the one we wanted. Luckily with the third book Meg has not left us hanging and thats all Im saying ;)
not good

This book focuses more on Mia's relationship with her boyfriend Michael. He's a sweet guy and all, but he doesn't seem the type for her. She is wild and outgoing--he's more quiet and reserved. He's not exactly Prince Charming. I was so hoping she would look around Genovia for much better guys. Michael isn't right for Mia. She doesn't see that, though.
LOVED it!

This is one of the BEST books I've ever read.
The main charator, Mia and numero-uno-hottie Michael get together and that's all I want!
An absolute MUST read if you are a fan of YA novels.
