colorful, bright, and full of fun

THE MISSING EASTER BUNNY is a colorful and bright celebration of Easter egg hunts! Ebby the bunny invited all the Pikmis for an Easter egg hunt, but they can’t find Ebby. When they see a note from Ebby, they realize finding her is part of the game! This cute adventure includes a hunt for eggs and Ebby the bunny.

What I loved: This book has super-bright and colorful illustrations that will appeal to young readers- there is a lot going on in each image resulting in a lot to enjoy on each page. The storyline is relatively simple and fun, easy for preschoolers and young elementary aged children to follow. Adding onto that, Pikmi Pops are popular toys, and it’s great to connect with children who love the toys with the love of reading. They can enjoy learning more about the Pikmis they own and find some love of books in the process. The scented stickers in the back add an extra element of delight for artwork or fun.

What left me wanting more: Despite not needing reading glasses yet, the font is relatively small and bold, making it a little hard to read at the usual distance. I wish it was a little easier for parents to read, but this is a small thing and maybe due to older eyes.

Final verdict: A great Easter gift for the Pikmi Pops lover in your life, this cute book brings the Pikmis to life in an Easter egg hunt adventure. The colorful and bright images will appeal to young audiences who will love following the plot of this simply fun story.
