Using Beatles' Lyrics to Teach Life Lessons
Illustrated with stills from the television program with light colored font, children will enjoy identifying the characters they know from the show. Some are named, but there are many faces on each page.
This book offers the message that even though people (and bugs!) may change and grow, they are still the same people they have always been. Katter's friends are supportive, check on her, and are accepting of her new wings and her ability to fly.
There are a larger number of books about the butterfly life cycle than I ever suspected, including the James Dean Pete the Cat and the Cool Caterpillar. The big appeal for this book will be the television tie-in. This story is based on the Beatles' song In My Life, and includes the lyrics at the end of the book. For big fans, there is a list of all of the titles currently out inside the back cover.
