Duck & Goose are back in this sturdy board book, perfect for preschoolers! What does Goose need more than anything this Valentine's Day? A hug from a good friend.

Editor reviews

We actually own a few other 'Duck & Goose' books in my home, so this book was welcomed with great anticipation when we received it. We just adore the fun loving friendship and antics of Duck, Goose, and their friends. This book was no exception.

Not only does this book remind us of the importance of a simple hug. After all, sometimes you just need one and when you do, nothing else will really help. Although that may sound a little heavy for children, this book manages to show the importance of a simple hug, while still being fun to read. My boys and I got a good giggle out of Duck and the other friends trying to figure out what Goose needs. And as a person who loves hugs? I couldn't agree with this book more!

The illustrations are adorable and tell the story quite well. It just amazes me that you can literally see Duck and friends singing in the pictures. Their facial expressions come across perfectly.

I highly recommend this book for young readers. My infant loves it, as well as my 5 and 7 year olds. As a matter of fact, the entire series of Duck & Goose are highly worth looking into.
