Desi Bascomb is a princess substitute prodigy—she's the fastest employee ever to advance to level three in the Facade Agency, and the youngest to ever be a full-time sub. But now with all eyes on Desi, the only thing she wants is a moment alone to talk to Reed, who's a Façade legacy and secretly a sub for princes!

As Desi trains for her new role, she spies more than a few cracks in Façade’s perfect appearance. But uncovering the agency’s dark past might require more than a princess sub can handle by herself. Desi is no damsel in distress, but sometimes a girl needs a knight in shining armor.

Fun Ending to the Series

I was really looking forward to finding out how Desi's story would end in this final book of the Princess for Hire series. I am a huge fan of princess stories and this series is a fun and different take on the "ordinary girl becomes a princess" story line.

The longer Desi works for Facade, the more she finds things that she doesn't like about her employer. She, along with her handsome prince sub Reed, decide to take on Facade. Of course, things don't always go as planned and soon Desi gets herself into quite a jam.

If you have read the first two books in the series, this is one not to miss. If you are looking for a new middle grade series for your daughter, then this would be a great one to start. This is one that I will definitely keep for my little girl one day. As of now, there are no plans to continue this series but I would love to see what happens with Desi, Reed, and Facade down the road.

Cute series, quick (but cheesy) reads.

Good Points
Lindsey Leavitt uses the Princess for Hire series to charm us with innocence and cute, clean reads. Desi Bascomb's adventure ends in "Farewell to Charms" where she is determined to change the Facade company for good. She's cute, can be funny, and, in case you forgot, occasionally turns into a princess when she puts on magic make-up. Every girl's dream, right?

These books are sweet, but I'm glad they are short. To me, the books in this series are fill-ins when I'm in a reading slump. They move quickly, end quickly, and get me moving on to another book, ahem, quickly.
