Allegiances are shifting among the Clans of warrior cats that roam the forest. With tensions so delicately balanced, former friends can become enemies overnight, and some cats are willing to kill to get what they want.

Fireheart is determined to find out the truth about the mysterious death of brave ThunderClan warrior Redtail. But as he searches for answers, he uncovers secrets that some believe would be better left hidden.

The mystery gets deeper

I must say that I love this series, I like the idea of these cats with rules that may reflect upon some of us. Some of these cats, well all of these cats, have human personalties and the way they run their life is similar to some of our cultures, in the past and in the present.

In this book, Greystripe's hidden mate, Silverstream, is now expecting kits. No one must know about this or they may possibly be banished from the clans. Huge problems arise for Fireheart, as this puts his friendship with Greystripe at risk, as he also must risk himself to keep their secret hidden. This book is more into the forbidden romances more so, but not for the main character Fireheart.

I loved this book as much as the others, I reckon these are an awesome series that take you on unexpected turns that you will never suspect. I recommend this to 9-14 year olds, as these are a great read for so many people! This book is awesome!

Kits and traitors

Reader reviewed by Selina

Graystripe's mate is expecting kits! But only Silverstream knows who the father is, and Graystripe hates that the clans can't know.
Meanwhile, Fireheart has become suspicious of Tigerclaw again, and although the truth he knew would have to uncover other secrets, he never expected to unearth what was better left unknowen. A definate adventure!

Intrigueing and exciting

Reader reviewed by Natalie

This great story is about Fireheart and Graystripe as they keep tugging on the blanket of secrets that cover the answer to a dark mystery that will shake ThunderClan to its core. Graystripe's forbidden love with Silverstream, a RiverClan cat might be going to far. Will Fireheart and Graystripe survive their quest for the truth? Will Graystripe's hidden love be revealed?

Erin Hunter is a great weaver of stories. This one won't disappoint anyone who has read the first two and will make any reader want to read the fourth.

One of the best books I have ever read

Reader reviewed by CuteyKittyGirl

Forest of Secrets is one of the best books that I have ever read and I have read a lot of books. It was a book of betrayal, mystery, romance, and even a bit of horror. It is a book that keeps you guessing and it had so many amazing twists. And the end of the book was so sad that it made me cry. This book was so great and I can't what to read the next one!
