Perfect for those Ready for Reading!

READY FOR READING is a great way to introduce reading to your preschooler. The tasks start off simple like finding the words and finding the letters among a set of pictures. Then, it moves on to knowing how letters should face and learning how to write them. There is also a task of matching the word to the picture, which is very beneficial.

There are also great tips for parents on the inside of the front cover. One for example is, "Plan short, regular sessions, only doing one or two pages at a time." This book is a tool for parents to use to help their children learn, especially if you don't know how to introduce these concepts on your own (like me).

I really like that the pages tear out because then they can be placed on a flat surface without the distraction of the rest of the book. At the end, there's a Good Work Award where you can place the date your child finishes the workbook that I really like. It'll be a keepsake. Since children, especially my child, love stickers, stickers provided in the back as an encouragement and are arranged by page numbers. That way, they can be rewarded as the child completes those pages.

Final Verdict: This is perfect for children who are ready to learn about reading, especially preschoolers getting ready for kindergarten.
