Stepsisters are a Bonus

When "Squishy" Taylor moves in with her dad and his new wife, she has to share a room with her older stepsisters. They're twins and don't get along with Squishy, but her dad wants her to think of them as the "bonus" sisters.

It seems like the three of them are never going to get along... until they discover a boy in the basement. He's hiding from his dad and wants them to keep his location a secret. There's nothing like sharing a secret to bring three girls together, but secrets also bring the risk of tearing things apart.

SQUISHY TAYLOR AND THE BONUS SISTERS focuses on sisterly bonding even though you may not share the same blood. Being stepsisters in more of a bonus rather than a punishment and I really liked that message.

Final Verdict: This was an easy read and would be perfect for any sisters out there around ages 7-9. It would also teach the importance of accepting stepsiblings.
