Deep Wizardry (Young Wizards #2)

Diane Duane has done it again! In this sequel to So you want to be a Wizard, Nita and Kit again find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place, this time knowing that Nita will probably die in the service of the Art.

Nita went on vacation with her family to a lonely beach, where she went for a little realxation after all the adventures in So you weant to be a Wizard. She helps heal a Whale-wizard, and gets drawn into the Twelvesong, to keep the Lone Power bound under the sea floor, as it has always been. But, she didn't realise that the part she chose required her to sacrifice herself to the Master Shark for real!! Find out what she does about this in Diane Duane's novel Deep Wizardry!
