Not my favorite Narnia book, but still important to the series. This book allows you to understand how the rest of the world outside of Narnia lives. For that reason alone, I will love it forever. Great as an audiobook or just to read.
Love this book!
How can you not love The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe? This book is just tremendous. I listened to it on audiobook recently and fell in love with it all over again. This is one of those books that you could read or listen to once a year and...
I absolutely LOVED this book and I have no idea why. The story is highly unbelievable and I didn't really find any of the characters truly likeable, but for some reason, I just couldn't put this done. Definitely a recommended read, especially good for the beach or a long trip....
Echols' books are wonderful, easy reads. This book reads like a typical teenage girl's daytime fantasy. While the main character is rich and beautiful, she feels like an outcast. She falls in love with her co-drum major, who happens to be gorgeous and sensitive. It takes the whole book to...
I absolutely loved this book. I stayed up until 3 a.m. just so that I could finish it. The main girl is so conflicted and unsure about her life, that she is completely realistic. Her two best friends are like any other ditzy best friends that you might have in...
I couldn't get into the characters.
The story seemed all right, but I just couldn't get interested in the characters. I gave the book my customary 20 pages and then stopped.
Once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. Stephanie Perkins has written some well-rounded and believable characters. In addition, her ability to bring Paris to life made the story all the more believable. A great book and a great love story that shows that not all relationships have...
Excellent book! Once I picked it up, I didn't put it down until I was done. It's such an easy and wonderful read. The story was just right. I didn't figure it out until about 30 seconds before the main character!
Slow, but good book
I found this book to be slow, but I kept at it and just loved the ending. I figured it out about the same time as the main character.
Not sure how I feel about this book
I read the book, but I'm still ambivalent about it. It was an ok story, but it lacked something that I can't quite put my finger on.
An excellent debut novel. Anastasia Hopcus has created a completely believable world with characters living just outside the realm of everyday society. With a story that draws you in and won't let you go, she has an innate ability to transfer her characters emotions to the readers and make them...
I liked the story, but the characters were a bit underdeveloped and the story was extremely slow, except for at the end where it felt like the author rushed the story.
Excellent, adorable book. I loved both Devi and Ivy and their separate, but similar personalities. The way that the story was written was extremely engaging and I couldn't put it down. Definitely a must-read!
