Great book!

Devoted was much slower than Elixir, but it still was really good. There were parts that I could have absolutely skipped and not missed anything, but, then again, there were parts where I couldn't put it down. I should have seen the end coming a mile away, but I really...

Disappointing

I found this book to be very disappointing. I loved the traveling pants books, so much so that I bawled throughout the entire last book. However, this book was just blah. None of the characters grabbed me. It seemed like the author was trying to hard to create them and...

Great book!

I loved this book!! The story was very well put together and the characters were well fleshed out and interesting. I was entranced from the first chapter. The book is kind of a mix between A Great and Terrible Beauty, the Sookie Stackhouse books and Elixir by Hilary Duff. This...

Excellent book

I loved this book. What struck it about me right away was how the chapters were laid out and explained in the Table of Contents. That reminded me of the style of really old books and made me even more interested in the story. I found the story easy-to-read and...

Amazing book!

This book was simply amazing. I picked it up because I loved "Before I fall" and once I did, I couldn't put it down. Her writing style is so easy to read and absorbing that you simply forget everything, except the story in front of you. I completely identified with...

I just couldn't get into it...

I just couldn't get into this book. I guess I'm really just hit or miss with Jennifer Echols' books. The book was too predictable from the beginning for me to be interested in it.

Not my type of book

I just couldn't get into this book even thought I found the story concept to be very intriguing. I didn't like the writing style and found the characters too difficult to like.

I tried to like this book...really

I tried to like this book. Even after hating the movie, I tried to give this book a chance. However, none of the characters, with the mild exception of Lindy, were even remotely good people. Kyle/Adrian just got worse as the book wore on. By 2/3 of the way through,...

Loved it!

I loved this book. It took me a while to get into it, but its one of those books that you just have to know what happens. I'm not sure I liked the ending, but I see why it had to happen that way. Definitely a great read. It will...

Cute book!

I loved this book. I didn't think I would. I thought I would like it, but I didn't think I would love it. It is such a brilliant twist on an old story. The only part I didn't really like was the end because it felt kinda rushed, but the...

Ok book

This book was ok. The story was pretty interesting, but I found it to be really slow. Once you get past that though, the book is pretty good. Definitely not a quick read.

Very interesting book

I thought that I would hate this book and dreaded reading it, especially because it was a graphic novel, but I ended up loving it. It is a simple story that perfectly illustrates the problems faced by inner city youth in today's society. I think this would be a great...

Terrible book

This book was terrible. The writing style was ok, but it was entirely too slow and I hated all of the characters, especially the main characters. I gave it 80 pages and then flipped to the end of the book to find out the ending (which I had mostly predicted)....

Not my type of book

I did not find this book realistic. The characters were flat and stereotypical and the writing style was boring. I gave it 50+ pages and then gave up. Definitely not my type of book.
