Loved this book!

I loved this book! It had a great story and great characters! The lessons within it are some that have been lost to today's society. I highly recommend this book.

Not my type of book

I didn't enjoy this book. It had too many made up words that I had to keep track of as well as too many descriptions. I prefer my books to be either a nice mix of descriptions and characterizations or heavier on the characterizations. The book didn't grab me and...

Not my type of book

Well-written, but I'm not sure if that is because of the author or the translator. The story was not my type of story, but I can see how it would appeal to someone else. Personally, I just found it depressing.

Loved it!

I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the first two. While some people felt that the ending was rushed, I felt that it went at the perfect pace, to make it go quicker or slower would have been to remove important pieces. You had to feel what Katniss...

Disappointed in it

I finally finished this book and it was LONG, way longer than it needed to be. I was actually kinda disappointed in the way that it ended. Things were resolved, but they also really weren't. It made me sad that after all that Gemma had lost, she still had to...

I loved it!

I loved this book. It was adorable. I can see how an elementary school-aged child, especially a boy, would just love it!

I didn't like this book

While this book is well-written, I didn't like it at all. It just wasn't my type of book. I didn't like any of the characters.

Amazing book!

I didn't find this book as traumatizing as the first one, but I think that's because the underlying current of terror was pushed to the surface and you were faced to deal with it square on, just as the characters were. My heart ached for them all, especially the tributes/victors....

Not really my type of book

This book moved too slowly for me. By the end of the first chapter, I knew basically what was going on and what was going to happen, but I thought there might be a twist. There kinda was, but it wasn't really worth reading the rest of the book to...

Moved to slowly

I found the concept of this book to be very intriguing, but the actual execution of the story left something to be desired. I couldn't get attached to any of the characters in the book and found that the story moved too slowly for my taste.

Not my type of book

I gave up on this book. About 6 chapters in, I realized that I hated the main character and didn't really care what happened to her or in the rest of the book, so I stopped reading it. I loved the concept of the story though. I'm not quite sure...

Amazing book!

This book was alternately one of the best books that I have ever read and one of the most traumatizing books that I have ever read. Not only was there the terrible games going on in the foreground, but once you really thought about it and delved below the surface...

Loved it!

When I started reading this book, I didn't like it. I found it boring and hated how the author kept switching between the different points-of-view, but I kept reading it. Before I knew it, I was halfway through the book and couldn't wait to find out what happened next. I...

It was ok

The book was ok. The story was interesting, but I just couldn't get into it. I liked the concept and loved who the ghost turned out to be, but something just kept me from falling in love with the book.
