Matt Howard reviewed Mockingjay (The Hunger Games #3).

- Really exciting and fascinating plot. The characters had a lot of depth, as they have in the first two books. Katniss was a little annoying, trying to decide which boy she loved, but hey - she's human just like you and me! She was an incredibly real character, and pretty funny, too. Lots of action that made my heart rate go up at times and always keep turning the pages! ...

- This second book of the Hunger Games series was an important and creative segue from the 1st to 3rd book. It has great momentum, a definite page turner, but I found it not as exciting as the other two books, and parts were a little redundant of the Hunger Games. Don't get me wrong, still an awesome read!

Stephani Watson reviewed Divergent (Divergent #1).

- This book is a page turner and soon to be a movie. I read this book about a year ago and have re-read 4 times so far and to plan on re-reading soon. After you read this book you will start thinking about life and the future. when i read this i realized i am Divergent. If you like Distopian books you will love this one, Veronica Roth Writing is amazing she really knows how...

Nikki H reviewed The Summer I Became a Nerd.

- I honestly had a lot of mixed emotions with this book. In some ways I loved it, but in other ways I didn't. In some ways I could absolutely connect with the main character while in other ways I wanted to shake her a couple of times. To me, the best thing about the story was Logan. I LOVED him. He brought out (in my opinion) Maddie's best side....

- Black Beauty is about the life of a handsome black horse. Black Beauty’s life story is full of ups, downs, horrible grooms, gentle masters, and amazing friends. The story starts with his first home and ends with his last. In the adventure in between we see his hardships and his luck. We see an ancient world through the eyes of a gentle stallion. We see the viciousness of the world around Beauty, and all the...

Bruce Arrington voted as helpful a review, Josh Anvil and the Cypress Door Review, written by Liane.

- Before we all start, I’d like to take the time to thank the author, Bruce Arrington for providing me a free copy of his book in exchange for a review. Also, I’d like to thank our crappy electric company for causing, without fail, hours of electricity failures every day to ensure that I can tear myself from my video games long enough to read this book. I appreciate the sentiment OMECO, but I would’ve read...

Meeting a tiger and befriending it while working a temporary job at a circus was probably the furthest thing from Kelsey’s mind when she took the job. Getting offered an all expense paid trip to India to a reserve for her beloved tiger, probably even further. Finding out the sleek, white tiger who has become her best friend is actually a drop-dead-gorgeous prince with a 300-year old curse? Who would think that would ever enter... -
Renae M reviewed The Crimson Crown (Seven Realms #4).

- All good things must come to an end. And, overall, The Crimson Crown was a satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series. Well. The last 300 pages were excellent. I literally had to force myself to read the first 300 (more on that later). Overall, I find that the Seven Realms series is the best YA fantasy series I’ve read—of course, I can’t think of too many other high fantasy series I’ve read, so there is...

- I love, love,LOVED this series and I finished the Clockwork Princess last night and was really sad then really happy. I have become so attached to the characters of this story that it almost feels like they are are people that have lived at one point in time. Christina Franke, Editor reviewed The Planet Thieves.Though marketed as a middle grade novel, do not let the age of the protagonists scare you away if you're an older reader. Krokos' sophomore novel is well-written and does not speak down to the audience. I loved Krokos' debut, False Memory, and he's hit it out of the park once again. The Planet Thieves is funny, full of adventure, and packed with delightful characters. Novels for children and teens are full of absent...

Bessamy reviewed Twilight (Twilight #1).

- I have read and reread this book many times. This book is a age crosser. I have friends that are older than me that love this book and their daughters love this book. Luckily that is how I found it. I bought all 4. The first is my favorite. Nothing like first getting to know the love of your life. Stephanie Meyer just truly has a way of describing scenes and events...

Kim Baccellia, Editor reviewed Tidal.Sirens Penn and Lexie for now are leaving Gemma alone while they search for another girl to take her place. Meaning Gemma doesn’t have much time to find out how to break the curse before she’s killed. Things back home aren’t going that great either. Alex hates her; Harper goes overboard trying to look out for Gemma, and Daniel is having problems of his own which include one very persistent siren. ...
