New Generation Interactive Kid's Fantasy Novel Released

Oct-31-2005

(PRWEB) September 30, 2005 -- "The Dragonfighters of Kulamain" is a fast paced story about a boy named Tory Hastings, who is thrown into the adventure of a lifetime when he discovers that it is his destiny to become a Dragonfighter on the alternate reality of Kulamain.

Tory and his best friend George Googles must unlock the powers within themselves to gain control of dragons and defeat other warriors in the battle arena.

Will Tory triumph and become the Ultimate Warrior like his father before him, or will the appearance of an old family foe result in the end of the Dragonfighting legacy?

“This book was originally written for my son,” says Penn from her home in Canberra, the capital city of Australia. “He loved Harry Potter, and loved the many cartoons that feature battles, stadiums and warriors. I thought it would be a great idea to combine the two and see what he thought.

“He loved the book, and read it three times over when he first received it. My son now reads books by Christopher Paolini and Dan Brown, but every few months I see him re-read The Dragonfighters of Kulamain, so I must have done something right.”

Because the novel was written with what children want in mind, Penn thought it would be a great idea to make the series interactive. It is for this reason that she has supplied her email address in the front of the book. “I want the readers to be able to contact me, to offer their thoughts and ideas, and to tell me where they would like to see the Dragonfighters series heading in the future,” says Penn. “What better way for a child to feel part of a story than to know they helped shape it with their ideas?”

"The Dragonfighters of Kulamain" is available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble and all good book stores. ISBN: 1-4116-4568-5
