Kendall is still getting used to living in Radisson, Georgia and starting her own ghost hunting team. She’s the talk of the town. But not everyone is too happy with her sudden popularity. Enter Courtney Langdon, resident mean girl and former girlfriend of Jason, Kendall’s boyfriend. Courtney is up to no good on her attempts to ‘dethrone’ Kendall’s sudden popularity. Then Courtney decides to play around with the paranormal. At first it’s all a game to get back at Kendall and try to win Jason back. But Courtney doesn’t count on how serious the paranormal world can really be.
This is the second book in The Ghost Huntress series. I really enjoyed reading the further adventures of Kendall and her ghost hunting team. Kendall’s sudden popularity with most of the town doesn’t mean everything is great with her. Her mother’s reaction to Kendall’s psychic and ghost abilities is realistic, especially considering she’s a nurse. The dialogue is fast paced. Also the tension and conflict between Kendall and Courtney rings true. I like how the author didn’t use as many pop references in this book. Also I loved the whole Civil war ghost and the reason why he stayed behind. Kendall is one character I’d love to follow. Especially as she goes searching for ghosts in Radisson, Georgia. Can’t wait for book three!
