This book is not the kind of book I would normally pick up off a shelf and read. The cover won’t really attract many readers at first glance especially since most judge a book by it’s cover. Although I would usually read a different theme of book I actually quite enjoyed Elvene.
I would rate it about seven out of ten. I liked the way the story line was laid out and I found the ending was better than most that I’ve read and believe me, I’ve read a lot of books. The ending didn’t give away too much information and left some room for imagination, whereas other books might complete the details and so when you’ve finished reading it it’s like you know everything and you have nothing to learn so it’s boring. That’s why I liked this book. It had the perfect ending.
I also enjoyed the creativity of the book. It had a lot of detail which I’m sure would have been hard to write. Because it was written as if you were looking at the events instead of a character narrating it, it made it pretty interesting. Even though it didn’t tell you what the characters felt it seemed as if you were the character as you read it and that you could feel what they were feeling.
This book practically played out like a movie in my head. I like
