Best of the Best : The Page Flipper

The Page Flipper
    by Kimberly Pauley

February 02, 2010 - I´m very pleased to announce that the first recipient of the Best of the Best award from YA Books Central is Chelsea Swiggett of The Page Flipper -- and formerly the official Teen Demi-Goddess here at YA Books Central!

Okay, so perhaps that makes this sound like a biased choice, but Chelsea´s blog truly deserves this award.

Her book reviews are on target and well-written and often go that extra mile (for instance, take a look at her recent review of Chasing Brooklyn, a novel in verse. In honor of the book, her review is partly told in Haiku.

The design is simple and easy to navigate (well, most blogs are, but many nowadays are very cluttered up with stuff). It´s really all about the books and the authors.

She even hosts author chats, as well as book giveaways (and I know how much you guys love free books).

I´ve also met Chelsea personally and know that she is a serious and dedicated reader and a true lover of books. She´s also a writer and I´m proud to know her.

You can find Chelsea´s site at http://thepageflipper.blogspot.com. I hope you´ll check it out and see why Chelsea is the first recipient of the Best of the Best award.
