Read on for more about Josie, her book, plus an guest post and giveaway!
Meet Josie Demuth!
Josie loves all things Gothic and magical, but particularly a story which is fun, intriguing and says a little something about the world.
She loves to write about weird and wonderful happenings in her home town, London, but also sets her tales in the mystical lands of the Westcountry, England.
Meet A Thousand Salt Kisses Forever!
Crystal White, formerly an ordinary human, is back together with her true love: the handsome, charming mer-prince Llyr. Granted supernatural abilities of her own that will allow her to live underwater, Crystal finally seems to have a shot at happiness with the man she’s waited for so long.
However, new obstacles both below and above the ocean stand in their way. The mers in Llyr’s undersea domain are becoming increasingly discontented by their relationship, and ancient denizens of the Black Seas are using it as an excuse to wage war. On shore, Crystal’s human friends learn of her secret love for the mer-prince, sending shockwaves across the land and sea.
With social pressures surrounding her above and all-too-physical threats lurking in the waters below, Crystal finds herself increasingly torn between two worlds. Will she and Llyr together conquer the dangers in their way, or will Crystal once more have to say farewell to her love below the waves?

Top Five Things you need when you are reading the ‘Salt Kisses’ series.
To celebrate the launch of the third book, ‘A Thousand Salt Kisses Forever’, I have a look at all the little treasures which can be lifted out of the pages of the books…
A lot of Amethyst
1. The book, set in the mystical Westcountry England, features an abundance of this gorgeous gem.
Whether it’s underwater amethyst palaces or amethyst cliffs, any salt kisses reader needs this rock in their life. And you only need to read half way through the first book to find out why!
2. Jason Momoa (circa 2012)
As pictured above. Because this is basically exactly what Llyr (the Salt Kisses crush) looks like. And, for the record, the books were dreamed up way before this god-like actor hit the waves as Aquaman. #serendipity
3. ‘Faded’ by Allan Walker
A fan sent me a link to this video and said it is the Salt Kisses sound track. I have to agree. This is Crystal staring out from the jetty wondering where her Llyr is.
4. I’m pretty sure the cat’s out of the bag about the book containing the odd mer. And any maid worth their salt has the classic sea shell bra … Here’s GiGi looking rather fintastic in this man-made one.
5. And of course, this!
Ideally, you would be on a magical Cornish beach, where many a mer has been spotted. But any seascape will do. Okay, okay, a pool is acceptable but ONLY if teamed up with an inflatable unicorn AND/OR merkini.
