Taylor is getting a new paperback look, releasing April 11, 2017, and we’re also revealing the cover for the sequel, SPARKS OF LIGHT, releasing August 1, 2017, from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. When HMH sent me the SPARKS OF LIGHT cover, I just kind of gaped at it for a second, then I turned to my hubby with a huge grin on my face and said, “Oh, HELL yeah.” Of course, I then lost any smidge of cool cred, when I emailed my editor back and told them the cover was amazing and…ahem…ELECTRIFYING! J (Yeah. That’s right. I rocked that oh-so-clever quip.) 😉
Anyway, I’m thrilled to the moon with this cover and let me tell you that it is categorically PERFECT to represent Hope, Bran, Collum, and Phoebe’s “shocking” new adventure! (#nerd)

In this sequel to the dazzling time-travel adventure, ‘Into the Dim’, sacrifice takes on a whole new meaning as Hope and Bran struggle to determine where—or when–they truly belong.
About the Author
Janet B.Taylor lives in such a small town in Arkansas that if you happen to sneeze when you pass by, you’ll totally miss it. (Cause, you know, you can’t sneeze with your eyes open. For real–try it–it’s impossible)
SPARKS OF LIGHT is her second novel. In this sequel to INTO THE DIM–which Diana Gabaldon, author of Outlander called: “Instantly Engaging”—Hope and her friends take on a whole new adventure when they travel to the glamorous, dangerous world of nineteenth century New York City to protect the eccentric inventor, Nikola Tesla.
Janet is a reader/fan first and a writer second. She lives with her fantastic husband, two hilarious sons, and Dorda the diabetic dog who won’t win any beauty contests, but has a “nice personality”.

I’m fangirling so hard right now! I’ve been checking this site all morning since I saw on Janet’s Twitter last night that the cover reveal would be here today! I have been waiting for this book since before the first officially came out. I got to read and review an eARC of Into the Dim through NetGalley and loved it so much that I preordered a physical copy. I love the cover of Sparks of Light and reading the synopsis it sounds like the perfect title and cover. I love Nikola Tesla(we actually have the same birthday!) so I’m very excited for this one! I love these characters so much and I have an immense love for history! Thanks do much for the chance! The jewellery is gorgeous and so perfect for this amazing series! Congrats to Janet on this gorgeous cover!
Oh and I love the cover for the paperback of Into the Dim as well! I’ll be adding that to my collection as well when it comes out! This is one of those series that I love so much I want All. The. Editions! 🙂
I love the new cover for Into the Dim but I also loved the first blue cover. I love the synopsis for Sparks of Light, New York during Gilded Age sounds very interesting and I can’t wait to read the book!
