It’s Live!! Cover Reveal: Seeker by Kim Chance + Giveaway (US Only)

FLUX_SEEK_COV_mksm-cover

Hi, YABCers!

Today we're excited to celebrate the cover reveal for

SEEKER by Kim Chance,

releasing September 10, 2019 from Flux!

Before we get to the cover, here's a note from the author:

Hi everyone! My name is Kim Chance, and I’m the author of Keeper and the upcoming sequel, Seeker. A huge thank you to YABC for hosting me and for helping me reveal Seeker’s cover to the world! I am so excited!

Let me start by saying how much I adore this cover! I think sequels can be a bit tricky due to all the expectation surrounding them, but my designer, Jake Slavik, did an incredible job capturing the essence of this book. Seeker, as a whole, is much darker in tone than Keeper. So, it was really important to me that the book’s cover reflect that. When I got the concepts from my editor, I gasped out loud when I saw this one. I connected with it immediately, and I just knew that this was my book. It was a really cool feeling! Everything about this cover--the darkened wood, the foggy, unknown future, and the three characters on the same road, yet on their own path-- is so perfectly aligned with what happens in the story. I just love it so much and I can't wait to hear what you guys think about it.

Thank you so much to the amazing team at Flux for bringing Seeker to life! I can’t wait to see Keeper and Seeker side by side on the bookshelf! Mark your calendars, everyone, Seeker comes out this September!

~Kim Chance

About the Book

Lainey’s normal, bookworm life no longer exists. With her family murdered by the Master, she joins forces with a group of Supernatural rebels. But as she struggles to cope with her new role as Keeper and the uncontrollable power it gives her, Lainey realizes that magic does indeed leave a mark—but it’s not always physical.

Ty isn’t one of the good guys. He’s done terrible things, and he won’t stop until he gets what he wants. Even if it hurts. Even if it means betraying the girl he loves…again.

For Maggie, all her comic book dreams have come true, and her new life as a Shifter is just beginning. But with war closing in, is it truly a dream or a death sentence?

In the ultimate battle for power, Lainey, Ty, and Maggie must face-off against the Master, and work together to discover the greatest weapon of all.

Seek and you will find.

I read Keeper by Kim Chance and it is by far one of the best books I have ever read. When she decided to write Seeker I knew that we would be in for an amazing adventure but I had no idea there would be so many twists and turns. Reading the “About The Book” has my mind spinning with all of the exciting possibilities to come! Congrats on Seeker Kim! The cover looks amazing!

After reading Keeper, I was seriously broken. I couldn't read anything else. For me this book was better than anything I'd in a long time. It was better than any of the Sarah J. Mass books.
I became even more excited after reading Keeper knowing that there would be a sequel and we could finally get answers about TY!! Oh... and everyone else... but mostly Ty and Lainey because that seriously hurt when reading about them in Keeper. I was sobbing.
I can't wait for Seeker!
Congratulations Kim! The cover is beautiful and fits the duology perfectly. Best of wishes!

I was left practically shaking at the end of Keeper, dying to know what happened next, but the darkness of this cover excites me. I’ve always been a fan of darker tones and I’m very excited to see how these characters evolve, although from the synopsis I’m the most intrigued by Ty. Great job Kim!

I’ve followed Kim’s journey with Seeker on YouTube. And after watching her put her heart and soul into this book, I know it won’t disappoint. And I love everything about this book! The cover is so different than the green cover of Keeper, but yet the same in tone. The synopsis makes me eager to read it! Can’t wait! Congrats & best wishes Kim!

This series is new to me, but it sounds like I need to get on board. The cover is fantastic and would have helped me choose this book anyway. Storyline is obviously intriguing. Can't wait to get Keeper.
