It’s Live!! Cover Reveal: Ricochet by Kathryn Berla + Giveaway (US Only)

FLUX_RICO_COV_mk-final-header

Hi, YABCers!

Today we're excited to celebrate the cover reveal for

Ricochet by Kathryn Berla,

releasing October 8, 2019 from Flux/North Star Editions!

Before we get to the cover, here's a note from the author:

Hi all! I’m Kathryn Berla, author of RICOCHET, which comes out this October. I want to thank YABC for hosting my cover reveal. I am so thrilled to finally be able to share it with you all! I had a feeling that this was going to be a difficult cover concept and I didn’t know exactly how to put into words what my expectations were. But when I saw the original graphic, I immediately knew that the designer Jake Nordby got it right from the start. I honestly get lost in this cover every time I look at it. I love the way it presents the different (and yet similar) facets of my character’s alternate versions. I love that it perfectly captures both the sci-fi and the thriller aspects of the story. The colors are stunning, and I just think it’s one of those covers that pops and cannot be ignored. I hope you all love it as much as I do and can’t wait to hear your thoughts. I’m beyond excited to see my very own copy on my shelf and so grateful to Flux for bringing my story to life.

~Kathryn

About the Book

When seventeen-year-old Tati sends a saliva sample to a DNA ancestry testing site her results come back inconclusive. What’s wrong with her DNA? And what does it have to do with her unexplained seizures and the beckoning tunnel she sees during them?

What Tati discovers is more than she could have ever imagined possible. Parallel universes exist and her abnormal DNA compels and condemns Tati and her other selves—shy Ana—privileged Tatyana—and on-the-run Tanya, to a lifetime of ricocheting between their parallel lives in the multiverse.

With knowledge of their existence a deadly threat in every universe, the only chance all four have to survive is to work together to take down the scientist responsible: their father.

This sounds really unusual. I was surprised by the second paragraph with the whole parallel universe thing!
