It's Live!! Cover Reveal: Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown + Giveaway (US Only)

Hi, YABCers!

Today we're super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for GEORGIA PEACHES AND OTHER FORBIDDEN FRUIT by Jaye Robin Brown, releasing August 30, 2016 from Harper Teen. Before we get to the cover, here's a note from Jaye:

Hey there YABC readers! Guess what time is it? Show time! Well, show you my cover time anyway. It's really kind of perfect. It plays to the title. The hand drawn fonts are fresh and fun, and the links of the chain in the background? Those are from a very special charm bracelet. Plus that little heart and arrow let you know the swoon and shipworthiness you're going to find between the covers.
I love it and I hope you do too!

About the Book

It's going to take a miracle for Joanna Gordon to get through senior year.

Despite being the daughter of a well-known radio evangelist, Jo has never hidden the fact that she's gay, and her dad has always supported her. But that was back in Atlanta. Now her dad, the reverend, has married wife number three and they've all moved to small-town Rome, Georgia. When Jo's dad asks her to lie low for the rest of the year in hopes that it will help him and his new wife settle in, Jo reluctantly agrees.

Although when God closes a closet door, he opens a window. Everything becomes so easy for Jo once she rebrands herself a straight girl. No one gives her odd looks. Her new stepfamily likes her. She even gets in with the popular crowd.

And that's how she meets Mary Carlson, the ultimate temptation. Even though Jo knows this girl is completely off-limits, she just can't get her out of her mind. But Jo couldn't possibly think of breaking her promise to her dad. Even if Jo's starting to fall for Mary Carlson. Even if there's a chance Mary Carlson might also be interested in her, too. Right?

Lord, have mercy.
Jo's in for one hell of a year.

The cover is basically too adorable. I looooove it! And the synopsis sounds like it will be a great combination of emotions, and coming of age, and love, and it sounds incredible!

There are so little books that talk about same sex love, so that automatically intrigues me a lot! The cover is also very very cute!

I like the cover, and I like that it isn't your typical YA romance. Yay for non hetero relationships!

I think the cover is cute and I like the colors. I like that this book is different and deals with religion, sexuality and family dynamics.

The cover matches the title and is cute. The synopsis promises a book that I need to read because it promises to expand my world and help me understand homosexuality and its relationship with family and religion.
