Kill The Boy Band
by Goldy Moldavsky
Release Date: February 23, 2016
About the Book
What happens when you love a band so much it hurts? In Goldy Moldavsky’s boldly
comic debut, Kill the Boy Band, four superfans’ devotion for their beloved boy band
takes a darkly comical and possibly murderous turn.
All the girls wanted was to be near the objects of their online devotion and multiple
Tumblrs, the English reality show-created group, The Ruperts. But what seemed like a
good idea (getting a room in the band’s hotel) quickly leads to an accidental
kidnapping and a dead band member. With a deft hand and biting humor, Goldy
takes a deep dive into the world of fandom, exploring what it means to be a teenage
girl in the age of the internet.
