Today we’re celebrating the cover for FOR REAL by Alison Cherry, releasing December 9, 2014 from Delacorte. Before we get to the cover, here’s a message from Alison:
I’m so excited to be back here to reveal the cover of my second book, For Real! I was thrilled when I found out that Heather Daugherty, who did the gorgeous cover for Red, would be designing my second book as well, and she hit it out of the park again. For Real is a book about reality television and the complicated, messy love between sisters, and this cover captures the feel of the story in so many ways. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was the opening credits of The Amazing Race, where each pair of contestants poses cheesily for the cameras while dramatic music plays in the background, and that alone made me fall in love with it. But what really hammered home its perfection was when I showed it to my own sister and she said, “Aw, this reminds me of us!”
